Indigo Raised Access Floor is AFD’s high performance gravity loose lay system, suitable for a wide range of applications, particularly data centres, IT suites and offices. In fact any application where superior performance and the flexibility of full access to services are essential.
Available in heavy grade and medium grade as standard, Indigo raised access floor panels are manufactured to the highest standards. Panels are available to meet both British PSA and European standards. This ensures Indigo can comply with your exact performance requirements.
Indigo raised access floor panels are manufactured in Belgium, 94% of the energy used is from a sustainable source. Indigo PSA systems are independently tested and certified to PSA MOB PF2 PS/SPU. This certification covers the entire system of panel, pedestals and, where appropriate stringers. Products have a factory guarantee of 25 years for panels* and 50 years for the pedestals. This delivers complete peace of mind for the installer and building occupier.
PSA Heavy Grade and Medium Grade Indigo raised access floor panels are constructed using the highest density chipboard core currently available. This gives Indigo a solid feel underfoot. Galvanised steel sheets are added to the top and bottom for Heavy Grade panels, or bottom only for Medium Grade. These are laminated using superior adhesive technology, ensuring no delamination occurs. Panel edges are finished with a robust, full depth ABS edge banding. This offers additional protection during installation, access and reconfiguration. Edges are raked at 5 degrees to facilitate positive location during installation. The result is a high performance system with a close, air tight seal and excellent acoustic performance.
Do you need a raised floor solution which will support loads which fall outside of the norm? AFD can offer our very own independently tested Extra Heavy Duty system which can support an ultimate load of >24kN. Heavy gauge steel pedestals combined with C-Section box steel stringers & our heavy grade panel offers a raised floor that goes above and beyond. Indigo raised access floor panels available with a wide range of surface finishes. The standard ex-stock finish from AFD is hard wearing factory bonded Polyflor SD (static dissipative) Steel Grey Vinyl. An extensive range of colours, pre-bonded high pressure laminate, rubber, wood effect and carpet are available to order. Alternatively Indigo raised access floor panels can be supplied bare ready to accept loose lay floor coverings.
Indigo is also available with a high density calcium sulphate core. This is ideal for projects where superior acoustic and fire performance are required. Calcium sulphate has outstanding moisture resistance properties and is chemically inert, perfect for higher humidity environments. All are designed to meet BSEN 12825:2001 standards and tested in accordance with EN 13501.
A fully steel encased option is available from stock, ideal for projects where a shallow panel is required but PSA or European standard compliance is still required. Indigo steel encased panels are suitable for use with loose lay floor coverings.
To complete your project, all Indigo raised access floor systems can be supplied with air grilles, power outlet boxes and a full range of other accessories. Contact us for further details.
