A glass raised access floor panel is designed to be installed alongside AFD’s Indigo raised access floor system. The framed glass panel allows for the viewing of inspection areas within a raised floor void. This prevents the need to lift a panel, when only visual checks are required on services beneath the floor.
If you have a specific area of floor that requires protection from foot traffic, a glass panel is an ideal solution to allow pedestrians to view the sub floor – this type of application is ideal when there is a specific architectural requirement, such as a historic building.
Standard 600mm x 600mm glass panels are resistant to fire, offer high resistance to scratching, good acoustics and non slip if required. The panels are suitable alongside any traditional wood core or aluminium raised floor finish.
Glass raised access floor panels conform to EU Standard BSEN 12825 and are graded as Class 5 (without stringer) or Class 6 (with stringer)
Raised access floor systems are the ideal solution for projects in many market sectors. From data centres through to offices and retail premises, raised floors deliver benefits for the maintenance and reconfiguration of building services. Explore the sectors below for more information.
