The Knauf GIFAframe Transition Profile (3m) is a robust aluminium edge trim system designed for use in single-layer Knauf GIFAfloor FHB flooring installations. Ideal for forming long straight openings or service void access points, this profile system provides a clean, resilient edge detail for removable floor sections or exposed terminations.
Precision-engineered to work seamlessly with FHB 25 mm and FHB 28–38 mm panels, each 3m profile can be cut to length on site and installed using spacer kits (where required) to match the panel thickness exactly. The result is a flush, trip-free edge around floor hatches or linear service corridors, maintaining the structural integrity and visual quality of the finished floor.
This profile is particularly suited for use in:
• Service corridors or trenches within raised or hollow floor areas
• Long rectangular access hatches
• Mechanical or electrical zones requiring periodic inspection
• Floor terminations at junctions, thresholds or expansion breaks
