Knauf LEP 13 is a 13mm thick, high-density dry screed panel manufactured from gypsum fibreboard with a density of 1500 kg/m³. Designed to provide a solid, durable substrate for a wide range of floor finishes, it delivers excellent thermal and acoustic performance while maintaining a slim profile.
Its rebated edge profile ensures tight, flush joints and reliable load transfer between panels, making it ideal for general dry screed floor constructions, including over timber or concrete subfloors. LEP 13 is also commonly used as a top layer in double-layer systems, particularly when combined with Knauf FHB32 or FHB38 boards to enhance structural rigidity and reduce deflection under heavy loads.
This panel is suitable for use in both new-build and refurbishment projects, including applications with underfloor heating, and meets EN15283-2 standards with an A1 non-combustible fire rating. Its smooth surface is ready to receive most types of floor coverings with minimal preparation.
