Knauf DLH/25 is a high-density gypsum fibreboard designed for use in dry screed floor systems. At 25mm thick and 1100kg/m3 density, it provides excellent load-bearing strength, acoustic performance, and thermal mass—making it a reliable and robust solution for both residential and commercial flooring applications.
The predecessor Knauf Brio and Hugo 23, the DLH/25 shares many of the same core properties but features a tongue and groove edge.
The board is manufactured from dense gypsum fibre (typically >1100kg/m³), delivering a solid, impact-resistant surface ready to receive a wide range of floor finishes including tiles, engineered timber, laminate, and LVT. It’s suitable for use over timber or concrete substrates and is compatible with underfloor heating systems.
Though superseded in some projects by more recent innovations, DLH/25 remains widely used for refurbishments, system continuity, and legacy specifications where a 25mm dry screed floor panel is required.
